Fuel Surcharge Revision for March 2010

REVISION OF FUEL SURCHARGE FOR UPLIFT OF CARGO ON MALAYSIAN AIRLINES SERVICES - 30 MARCH 2010

Reference is made to MAS circulars DSC 2C 2138 dated 22 June 2004 and DSC 2C 3352 dated 20 Jan 2006 in regards of implementation of fuel surcharge.

In view of the fact that the fuel price index has continously exceeded 405 for the past two weeks, Malaysia Airlines will revise the fuel surcharge for uplift of cargo on Malaysia Airlines services to the following levels effective  30 March 2010.  

International Services:-

1.1 From Malaysia to IATA Area 1 & Area 2                                               : MYR2.47/kg

1.2 From Malaysia to Australia & New Zealand                                      : MYR1.60/kg

1.3 From Malaysia to Indian Sub-Continent                                            : MYR1.60/kg

1.4 From Malaysia to IATA Area 3                                                              : MYR1.00/kg
