Where It All Began
It all dates back to a small but aspiring company with ambitious
aims to transform the realm of logistics.
Since 1989, Phili-Orient has been a boundless sprouting shoot, taking on the world with quality, cost-effective yet innovative services. Bit by bit, we established a firm standing in the logistics and freight forwarding arena, continuously proving reliable, efficient, and beyond expectations.
Our Journey
POLPG Incorporation - Phili-Orient Group’s first company
1989
POAPG Incorporation - Penang office for air freight businesses
1997
POAM Incorporation - Phili-Orient Group’s central region office
1998
Approved customs broker license by the Royal Malaysian Customs
1999
Moved to new office building in Penang - Wisma Phili-Orient with built up of 6,800 sq. ft.
2006
New Warehouse with land size of 2.7 acres
2009
Became an IATA Accredited Cargo Agent and gaining industry recognition
2010
Awarded HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia
2014
• New Phili-Orient Corporate Office in Ara Damansara
• POL India Incorporation - first overseas office in India
2016
New office in Chennai
2017
• New branch offices in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai

• Awarded the Silver Business Partner of MASkargo (MAB)
• Extensive Charter Business
- Executed and operated 25 Charters exporting to BLR, BKK, DXB, DPS and JKT (May 2019 till May 2021)
• Business Expansion
- Expanded e-commerce activity into POS Aviation Warehouse

• New Office
- Established a new office in Penang Airport.
• Business Line Expansion
- Explored into domestic East Malaysia for e-commerce. Progressed from 60 tonnes to 300 tonnes per month
• New Record
- Reached monthly export average tonnage of 550 tonnes
- Reached monthly Import average tonnage of 200 tonnes
• Established as Solution Experts
- Provided long-term solutions to export Dangerous Goods for MNC with effective solutions (Case Study) – Samsung
• System Enhancement
- TMS system with EDI connection
2020
• New Record
- Reached an average of 3,000 jobs monthly for import and export.
- Reached an average of 3000 custom declarations monthly.
- Reached a total of 150 employees.
- Completed more than 220,000 jobs after registration as an IATA agent.
